USB Mass Storage Device

I am trying to edit a film on my computer but can't. I do not have the software to install my camera on my computer. It is a JVC-GR-DVL820U. It says found new hardware, goes through it and finds nothing because I do not have the cd for my Camcorder. Is there anyway I can move the film to my computer with third party software of some sort?

well why dont you call the company...(jvc) tell them you lost the cd. theyll probly send you a new one or theyll tell you where to download drivers

I don't want to do it. Tell Seth to. Plus like I said, we need it before Wednesday that is if we want to edit that film, but we really would like to always have it..

My son just had the same problem with a used Sony camera he bought and didn't get any software with. A phone call to Sony and their tech support pointed us to the drivers we needed out on the web.

You need the drivers for your camera. Go to JVC webpage and track down through their tech support and I'm sure you'll find what you need.
