Usefull Laptop Software?

My new laptop is comming in the mail soon:

and I'd just like to ask you all what is some good laptop specific software that I should get a hold of?

Bump for advice...
I hear that a program called PowerStep or something comes with alot of laptops now, which downclocks your processor when your not using it much so that it uses less power.
