Using AntiAlias is a huge killer on my system in windows vista

Why is it that if I don't use any AA in half life 2 single player, I get around 80 to 100 fps, but if I use 4x AA then my FPS drops to the mid 30's? Could it be horrible video drivers from Nvidia? I wish they would fix this soon, if it is their fault. It's horrible playing with no AA. :dozey:

Yeah but in windows XP it didn't take all that much of a hit. Not 80 fps.

Give them time to make good drivers Vista is still new. And don't expect games to work on vista as they do on Xp cause vista uses a lot more resources

They've had tons of time to prepare good drivers for vista. This is no excuse. :dozey:

Well too bad. Just because they've had the time doesn't mean they've utilized it.
