ut 2004 or Doom 3

I say UT2004, it has a LOT more lasting appeal. Though if you could, I'd recommend getting both. :) Though it's better to try the Doom 3 demo first, it's really one of those love it or hate it games.

If you like multiplayer go for Ut2004. If you like singelplayer go Doom 3. Booth are great games so if you could buy both :D

ut2004

i got it in april, and i havent stopped playing it since!

You need to experience both. If you have UT 2003, then get Doom 3 first. If you don't have UT 2003, get UT 2004 first then Doom 3.

I'd say go with DOOM 3. I loved the single-player experience and the multi-player. Though Unreal Tournament 2004 just isn't my type of game, anyway. It's too unrealistic. It all depends on your taste in games. But if you ask me, I'd say definitely go get DOOM 3.

I'd have to day Doom 3. Far better than UT2004 in my opinion.

But then again, I don't really like the whole UT series so I'm a bit biased.

Even though they are both fantastic products...I would go with UT2004. Simply because it will last alot longer with all the mods out for it atm.

I say UT2k4 too.
Mmm, mods, that makes me feel like playing some alien swarm :D

I had a lot of fun playing Doom 3's single, but UT2k4 lasts longer and has much more content.

Ut2k4 holds a special place in my heart, so I've got to vote for it.

UT2004 all the way....plus good mods and replay value...if you do get ut2004 downlaod red orchestra.

For me:
Doom III: Play it first on hard like I did and it kicks ass. Then there's not much replay value...unless you want to play around with the graphical options.
UT2004: More for multiplayer...the ladder is pretty fun and has a very big replay value and good lasting appeal.

Unreal Tournament 2004 is a very stable and bug free game. The tech support is great and Epic is very kind to the community and they offer a lot of great things such as the ECE download and the bonus packs.
