Well I've loved the demo for quite some time.
I know it has a great fan base and has had some nice mods such as Red Orchestra & a remake of the Unreal 2 XMP.

But my question is(as a 56ker), how is the netcode? How would it play for a 56ker? I can survive in an HL2DM game and kill and do good.

I might get the full version. If I can play online decently. If it played online as smooth as Cs:S\Cs 1.6\Cs 1.5 that would be heaven.

Anyone know or have an idea how smooth it would play for me?

Just try out the demo online, even official version owners can play with demo-ers - the netcode is identical. So if you can play the demo online wll enough, buy the full version. It's so much better than the demo, and one of the few games that kept me playing constantly for 6 months.

I suppose there is a pretty decent sized community right.
