Glad they're finally out.

EDIT: To be honest, the minimums are a lot lower than I expected. It must scale really well.

It's probably going to be a well optimized game.
I have so far played a few ut3 engine games(Stranglehold,Fury) and they all run like butter even at highest settings.

Well, i believe it because iv played a few Unreal 3 games so far and they run really great on the highest settings with 1280.

I'm not terribly surprised. Epic is well known for making well optimized and scalable engines.

I'm not exactly sure why they picked those cards as recommended. Doesn't seem consistent. The X1300 is a entry level ATI card while the 7800GTX is a high end card from the competing Nvidia line (both launched in 2005).

Why were they specific with the 7800GTX then?
Even with the X1300 XT you are still looking at basically the bottom of the pile.
Now look where the 7800GTX is on the list. Their recommendation just doesn't make sense unless we find the 7800GTX performs on par with the x1300 running their game...

I was surprised at how low they were too, but then I remembered that everybody bullshits their min specs, and im certain you wont be able to play decently at those specs.

WOW!! they must mean that those are the minimum to get at least 1 fps in the game. lol. its like you while your turning around in the game you can go make a pizza and come back and be like HEY HEY HEY LOOK IM ALMOST TURNED AROUND!!!! LOL
