V Festival!

Good day people, i'm back from my rocking weekend in chelmsford, THE V FEST!

It was fantastic, i was wondering if any of the regulars in this forum was at it? I don't think i've found a single person yet?

I enjoyed it SO MUCH. This was the 10th V fest, and i'll never forget it. If you get the opportunity to go at any time in your life i recommend it, its fantastic. Hopefully i'll see some of you there next year?

Anyway, some of the bands i saw...

The depatures, The La's, The Hives, The Bravery, Oasis, Kaiser Cheifs, Maroon 5, Jet, The Zutons, The magic Numbers, Thirteen senses, KT Tunstall, Tony Christie, The prodigy, Athlete, Embrace, Franz Ferdinand.

There were other great bands there, but those were the only ones i got a chance to see! (some of the best imo!)

Anyone else there? Listen to it on Virgin radio? Watch it on channel 4/ E4? Thoughts?

Well I live in Chelmsford but didn't go this year.

I've been speaking with a couple of people in the office and seen pics/vids and it seems to have been a great success.

Can't believe I missed out; ahh well, always next year

My freind went there for work (behind the bar, litter picking and stuff) and he got 132 quid for it, I might go for that next year. Or at someother festival that doesn't appeal to me musicwise.
