Valve...Damn

I am having difficulty controlling my anger right now. Valve decided to delete all of my saved game and all of my progress in Half Life 2...

Yay...

Any one else had this happen?

VALVe didn't delete it, something you did made it dissapear, all my saves are still in my HL2 save folder.

Have a look in X:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\**SteamUserName**\ to see if you can find any save games there for hl2.
