<p>There's an Interview with Doug Lombardi on Joystiq talking about a variety of topics, including PS3 support and quite a bit on Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2.? The top interview questions that caught my eye were:</p>
<p><span >So first thing's first. Where's Half Life 2 Episode 3?
</span><span >
<p>Doug: "Laughs. Stay tuned! No news on that today."</p>
<p><span >Onto Left 4 Dead 2 specific stuff. Will you be offering Left 4 Dead 1 levels as DLC or installable from the disc for Left 4 Dead 2?
</span>
<p>Doug: "That's something that we're looking at right now. How to marry those communities and how to piece those things together. We've made it so that with the mod tools, if you're making stuff for <span >Left 4 Dead </span>right now, with very little work you'll be able to get it up and running in <span >Left 4 Dead 2</span> and it's a matter of how all that interfaces and there are a lot of details that we still need to work out. But it's definitely a goal of ours to have cross-operability for those who own both games."</p>

There is a link... k thnx

There is a link, just not clearly shown :P

Would be funny if the interviewer, after Doug made that comment, just sighed & then got up and left (4 dead 2 - not interested. We want EP3!! :bounce: )

I think someone should do it just for a laugh, see how Doug would react. I would defiantly laugh!
I must say all these interviews are becoming a bit samey, not really anything new we haven't already read elsewhere.

Everyone just wants to hear about EP3. Left 4 Dead 2 just doesn't cut it for most. It feels like we've not long got over all the interviews about the original Left 4 Dead. I think it would have been much more favourable if Valve concentrated on EP3 after Left 4 Dead & then started talking about Left 4 Dead 2.

I agree thus, I called the title valve Interviews commence. We should see another week of these interviews. Some sites get more info so we might showcase those answers.

God, Episode 3 better blow me the **** away for them to get away with blueballing us so hard for so long over it.

"Orange Box 2: L4D2, HL2: EP3, Portal 2 and a hooker to caress your balls while you play."

Awesome. So even better than Orange Box 1 then (apart from that nonsense about LFD2, EP3 & Portal 2) :imu:

Dunno if it would be called The Orange Box 2. The first one was originally going to be called The Black Box IIRC, so maybe they'll use that? Or they could go in a different direction and call it The Lemon Box.

And argh, still no news on Episode 3. Them being coy about it isn't cute, it's annoying.

The Black Box was the name for the package that didn't include HL2 and Ep. 1 that they later decided not to sell.
