The mysterious website owned by Valve based around the fictitious band the Midnight Riders has been updated with a great deal of new content. We mentioned a few days back this site had players intrigued and the belief is that the Midnight Riders are likely candidates for Left 4 Dead 2 DLC. References to the band are seen and heard throughout the Dark Carnival chapter.[br]The site now includes an extensive blog of the band's activities, album art and 2 youtube videos of songs by the band. Valve seem to be adding some depth around the story of the Midnight Riders making it likely we will see them in L4D2 as future downloadable content.

A DLC called 'No Salvation' I imagine :)

If it doesn't involve smashing in the heads of zombies with a guitar while driving on a motorcycle I will probably be disappointed.

you don't ever have to hope for that with the PC version

Way back in the year of two thousand and seven, May 22, Eurogamer put up a quote that I remember quite well, coming from Team Fortress 2 designer Robin Walker on the issue of paying for new maps in the game:

"You buy the product, you get the content. We make more money because more people buy it, not because we try and nickel-and-dime the same customers."
It only costs shit on the consoles cuz M$ are moneyfags.

I want Francis to be related to this somehow.

also, Green Flu; name for the zombie disease? Unless that was already said somewhere.

From this we can conclude that Valve is, in fact, awesome.

Glenn, when we play as the Riders I have dibs on Jake.

Holy shit this is epic. Can't wait to see what they do with this. I predict an armored tour bus. And bikes.

Other devs, please take notes.

This is how you be awesome.

Ummm ... I didn't bought L4D2, and wasn't planing to ...

But this ...

O hell ...

It's so epic ...

Curse you valve!

I'd play as the one who looks like a dirty, sweaty biker mechanic...

Oh.

There are four of them. Most definitely going to be seeing them.

I wonder how long till this ends up in Rockband.

Also, everyone subscribe to them on youtube. They're the fifth most subscribed this week and thirty fourth this month.

This is going to lead to an announcement to L4D3 at the end of this year.

knock on wood.
