I think I'm the only person in the entire world that still LOVES Valve. They're such a great group of people. They go through so much shit and all people do is talk shit about them.

I give them money, they give me games.
As far as HL2 goes, I really don't care anymore. I'm more focused on games that are actually coming out this year.

I love VALVe too - the person I hate is the hacker who stole the source. Although Valve is a new company, they aren't a baby, chu. They made Half-Life. The fact that it is their first and to date only game does not change the fact that they made Half Life. Making a game that won over 50 GOTY awards does not qualify as a baby.

Well chris, having HL be such a popular and great game could be the downfall of Valve. Right now Valve is living off the hype of how great HL was. If HL2 doesn't turn out to be a greater experience than the original then Valve will lose the hype. Now I know, we all know, they have the talent to do so and I hope it turns out well because to lose any good developer would suck. I am sure it will be great game though.

I like them. They gave me HL. HL rocked and is one of the only games I've ever played through three times. They're cool.

I hope they can best themselves with HL2.

They aren't new. HL was released in 1998. They were around long before that. 1995 to be exact.
EDIT: Valve rocks. I just hate all the release date not keeping going on. The way they handled the PR with the delay stunk.
