This past week we've found ourselves in the weird and extremely rare situation where community news and speculative stories actually outnumbers official Valve news. Still, it remained a relatively interesting week for news which involved Valve distancing themselves from Piston developer Xi3, the announcement of a Left 4 Dead 2 X Resident Evil 6 crossover and the launch of a brand new Portal-themed live action series known as "Aperture R&D".
