Is this new ? if it is I think we are getting HL2 very soon. The reason I say this and I know its purely speculation is that there have been a lot of new material popping up on sites about HL2 including collector details/box art, the books, and now this. I know im hoping too much but to me this is a good sign if its new. Nice design anyways, cant wait to try this game out, whoa im tired

It would look cooler without the girl on it to be honest. Not that I have anything against pics of women on things, but it looks slapped on like an afterthought, and the art would be awesome without it. Oh well, it's marketing I suppose.

And Tork, it was confirmed by the Activision Community Manager that this would be the final cover. I wouldn't be surprised if they slapped some more logos and the like on it, but other than that I think we can safely say it's final.

i guess if push comes to shove, the box art still looks great with the chic on it but yeah.. coulda been better without the chic

right now, after HL2 and Mortal Kombat: Deception, this game is the next "must have" title for me

Ya, I've been wondering the same thing. Hopefully they're taking the time to really polish it.

yeah...kinda.
its hard to tell too tho...i mean i have read comments about the previous Vampire games being unfinished/bug ridden etc.. so hopefully the developers are taking this time to really polish the game and make it as bug-free as possible.

The previous vamp games weren't made by this dev though, nevertheless I do hope they take the possible extra time (afaik it was planned for a holiday release all along, so meh) to fix bugs. Apparently they're in crunch mode at the moment, so I'd say they expect to release soon enough. There was also an ad recently that advertised a november release. So neither HL2 or Bloodlines should be long now... hopefully.

If want to see the game in action www.gametrailers.com have 5 videos which show this thing in action - on the whole it impresses, especially the multiple paths your character can take depending on your attitude/clan/gender etc. There are few issues like the foes which make me wonder if the gameplay could be a little shaky (weird mutant head and arm things), though this is a big time RPG, so the action looks like it'll be on a far smaller scale and the fact that you can talk yourself out of a fight backs this up. I'll get it just out of curiosity, and as long as the game doesn't suffer from the original setbacks - but to be honest this is worlds away from the original.
