I'm definitely looking forward to Half-Life2 - I mean, what gamer isn't?

And yet, I have to admit that, being a huge role-player, the game I've really wanted to play is Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. The story goes that Bloodlines has actually been completed for months, but because it was created using The Source engine, it had to be held back as not to spoil Half-Life2's coming-out party.

I'm certain that the people who worked on Bloodlines are just as happy right now as the good folks are over at Valve.

What I never did find was a Bloodlines forum - does anybody know of one? The official Bloodlines website over at Activision has got to be the poorest designed website I've ever encountered. What a confusing place!

Anyhow, now that Half-Life2 has an official release date, I'm hoping that Bloodlines will recieve one too. Got... to get... my hands on it... before... Christmas.

Believe it or not, but I'm actually going to be buying a brand new PC just to play these two games. I'm such a sucker. I hope that a 3GHZ system with 1mg of ram, and an nVidia 68000 GT video card will get the job done.

Just another month or so to go... got... to try... not... to spend... too... much... time... thinking about it.

1 mb of ram :|

im also lookng foward to bloodlines [roleplaying fan also]

Wow, as we speak - Monday afternoon on the 18'th of October - the Half-Life2 forum is really lighting up. That's really cool. It's so exciting when these huge games reach gold.

I hope that somebody announces when Bloodlines will ship. I suspect that this game might end up being a really great game, but end up falling underneath the radar.

What I plan to do is play Bloodlines before I play Half-Life2. For some reason, your first experience with something is always more powerful - this Source engine sounds like its the next big step in gaming, and I want to experience it first as a role-playing game.

I just know that it's going to be great... got... to... stop... thinking about it.

I'm assuming that Bloodlines will be played at a much more cereberal pace. And how can you resist the idea of becoming a vampire, and then delving into the politics of the vampire world.

I know a lot of people didn't like it, but Vampire: The Masquerade: Redemption was one of my all time favorite titles.

Walking around the streets at night as a vampire was the coolest thing I've ever experiences on a PC. Man, I just can't wait to get my paws on this thing... got... to... stop... thinking... about it.

well i want hl2 so badddddllly cos i want bloodlines :) hehe

bloodlines will be a great game, and rpg with source physics sounds like an explosive combination :)

your new pc setup should run the game somewhere in this forum section theres a thread with the offical requirments.

Bloodlines will be as good as HL2 imo. Some1 reported Nov 26 as the release date on another thread however it doesn't seem too accurate.
