Hey all, was wondering who has ventrilo, its a chat program. im bored an was wonderin if anyone wanted to join my friends server and play some games or somethin. Sorry if this is considered spam or somethin, havent posted in a while, an those who remember me know i dont spam.

I use teamspeak now, it's better than ventrilo imo.

Tried it out once just for shits/giggles, talked to some guys I play CoD with and the topic changed to drinking wine from a shoe... getting to know people sucks.

I'm guessing you'd have to have the server version running on one of the comps... likely the one you're using as a game server.... unless of course you've got an internet connection, but that wouldn't be very practical if you've got the speed of a LAN connection.

I use vent for CS.
Vent >> in-game voice com.

Yes, vent is so much clearer only fall back is that the ventrilo server I use has a delay on it, but its ok b/c its free

I use ventrilo for cs as well...and many other games (BF:V, LFS e.g)

great quality - and low bandwith :thumbs:

got ts2, but i like ventrilo better
Skype is the best, but not for gaming - too much bandwith

Hey dude, Vent's kinda confusing at first. what are you havin trouble wit? connecting to a server? or gettin your mic to work? or getting the marniel veins to align with the dash turn gear?

Voice chat is annoying tbh i always select it off so i cant hear people screaming down their microphones

heh hey dude, i got D2 installed, but im almost 400% positive that my accounts are deleted, cause i havent even fathomed touching the icon for reasons unknown to me. but i could start again if you wanted to play man. oh an ventrilo is pretty safe, cause you can turn the volume down and mute an whatnot. but if anyone screams or shit like that in a server im in, i jus whistle them to death. its called the death whistle, or some other hardcore sounding name, and it distorts time.

Nice, well considering I havent got a mircophone but I might be getting one soon. I think it would work out quite well if your only playing in a server with people you know. You play : opposing force? TFC? Halo?. I havent got battlefield, any good?

My diablo 2 account is probably deleted too I just need a new modem for my new computer and ill get a new account set up then ill get back to you.
