Verizon phonez, why do they all suck?

So I got a ENv around 7 months ago, against all better judgment, and I just cannot take it anymore! :rolling:

So I was looking at all the phones offered by Verizon and...

THEY ALL SUCK!

I just want a freakin' clam style phone with a 2MP or better camera nothing fancy. NO! Cannot have that.

I would totally switch SP's but, my parents are paying for it and I am a cheap-ass. Also they really do have good service everywhere! :cheese:

What are some un-offical cell's that work on verizon's network?

PS: powercycle your modems for atleast 30 seconds before you call into tech sup ffs

Don't listen to that guy. Verizon phones suck because they force the manufacturers to use the Verzion UI. The only phones that have their own interface are the Palms, Blackberries, and Windows Mobile phones.

However, in the next couple of years, Verizon is going completely open source allowing for manufacturers to use their own software and actually be intuitive with their own phones.

Yea but it has a cheap touch pad so it is hard to use.

I like my LG VX8550. The touch pad is a little too sensitive, but other than that it's great.
