Versus: Round One

Well, I was thinking...why not have Versus matches between video games? Here's how it goes: I, and only I, choose two likeable and similar games for competition, I choose which game Versus which game, I will set up a poll for each round, the poll with close after 3 days, the games in competition may be from any system released in the US (including PC and handhelds), the last round will consist of 3 battling games (ex. Game #1 Versus Game #2 Versus Game #3), the winners will not be carried over to the next round, I will announce the winner once the poll has been closed, the matches will only have games that have been already released, after the poll has closed and I announce the winner...I will then create a new thread for a new round of Versus.

If a game is on one or more systems, it will automatically go to the 1st system it was released on. If the game was released on one or more systems simultaneously, it will automatically go to the Xbox. (Example #1: Grand Theft Auto 3 was first released on the PS2...then the PC...then the Xbox, therefore GTA3 would go to PS2. Example #2: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was released simultaneously across all systems, including PC...therefore it would go to the Xbox automatically.)

I voted for Metroid Prime. I just liked it better then Halo, but that doesnt mean Halos a bad game.

No brainer it goes to Halo. I liked the gameplay better, plus it had multiplayer. Metroid's controls sucked, even though some people get used to it... I never did.

Never played Metroid Prime but I'll vote for Prime since, IMO, Halo was one of the most redundant games I've ever played.

Halo all the way. I spent too many hours of playing and replaying and replaying (mp and sp) Halo. I didn't played Metroid Prime from the start to the end and I hated the controls.

What are you going to do about it? It annoys me when people start a thread and say "this" or "that" won't be tolerated. It's a public forum. Sorry, but you don't make the rules. Now I can understand asking people not to spam or flame, but if they want to make comments about the vote then that's their choice.

Sorry about that guys, that I didn't do this sooner like I said, but I was on vacation (Ocean City). Well, I'm back, and it looks like Metroid Prime is the clear winner in this FPS round. A surprisingly 17 to 13, in favor of Metroid Prime. The next round will begin tonight and end 3 days thereafter. And remember, keep on voting.
