seriously...I sleep like til 1pm,that aint right any suggestions ?
 
I do the same thing.

Is there any REASON to change your ways? I just sleep till i'm not tired. Some days it's at 12, some days it's at 10, I just please myself.

I mean, come on, it's summer :D!!!
 
I struggle to get up as well. :(
 
Sleep is needed for the body's wellbeing. The more sleep you get, the better for your brain and, mind, it is. (Yes Brain and Mind are different) If you are constantly dreaming, this is also good as it is used to figure out problems that the conscious mind cannot.
 
Winter holidays over here = Massive incredibly long sleep ins.

Screw waking up early.
 
Do it while you can, because when you're old you'll get tired and fall asleep earlier, and be waking up in the morning! Weird I know.
 
These days I sleep from 2 to 7. Holiday time is too precious to waste on sleep.

You figure that if you sleep late and wake up late, you're not wasting any time at all. It's just all spent in the wee hours.

If you wake up earlier, then things just end up less enjoyable, because you're all "MEH **** I WANT TO SLEEP"
 
Set a pattern and stick to it. When you want to sleep make sure it's dark and you haven't eaten/drank any stimulating items. To wake up you need light, I forget all my high school physch lessons but make sure you room is well lit in the mornings. Also don't drink Caffeine straight after getting up let your body do the work.
 
I usually get up easily. That's never been a real problem unless I get next to no sleep. Sometimes though, I can sleep 20-hour days. I slept a whole day once. It was awesome. I woke up and I didn't know what time it was or what day it was.

Oh and I have a job too. I just have extremely flexible hours.
 
Im like Darkside. If I can waste the whole day, then I might just sleep through it entirely. Ive been known to get up later than 7pm on several occasions. However, if I have to do something that day, I usually tend to wake up at the right time. Go body clock!

Although sometimes, if im so tired that I think I wont be able to wake up in the morning I'll set the alarm on my cell phone, and put it far away in my room so that I have to actually get outta bed to turn it off.
 
I need to find a fix for this. I seriously can't wake up untill I'm done sleeping, forever having to rush to get to work.

I'm seriously considering getting one of the dog shock collars and wiring the remote into an alarm clock.

Not exactly. It is harmful if people sleep too much, but I failed to find the article about the reseach article on sleeping on the Internet.
 
get a job you whiners...i have to be out of bed at 6am, drive a half hour, work till 3-4, fight traffic coming home....ahhhhhhhh
 
On days that I have to wake up at 6:30 AM to go to work, I am SO tired the rest of the day. I usually go to bed at 10-10:30, but get to sleep at 11-12, since I can't sleep often. Then I wake up in the middle of the night constantly....so all in all, when I CAN sleep for 12 hours, I do it. Weekends off FTW.
