very odd, dx level 70 doesnt work

ok, when i set dxlevel to 70, screen goes all gay and screwy, works on 90, 80, 81, my specs, radeon 9800pro 2.26ghz 512mb ram 4.7 omega driver. and is it possible that css has poor codeing or something like that so that good vids cards get low fps? cause i am, i set it on 1024x high texture low model shadow off, no water reflection, and dx lvl 80, but still have bumpmap on and i get around 75 average on the stress test

75 is not a bad number but if you turned everything off it might be. have you updated to the new catalyst driver and direct x 9.c? try it out
