This is Socket 478 by the way. All I need to know is which one you would recommend over the other. One's a P4C 2.6ghz 800mhz FSB. The other's a P4E (Prescott) 2.8ghz 800mh FSB, both Hyper-Threading of course. They're both in the $130range and I can't really go higher. But also if anyone knows of a motherboard and Ahtlon 64 I could get in which the price of both the mobo and cpu would add up to only about $130, I think I'd take that instead.

well you wont be able to get an amd 64 and motherboard for $130 i know that your better off saving up

you can get PCI-E socket 939 mobos in the uk for around £60 if that is the SLIGHTEST bit of help in the world

For $130... please tell me where from!

You can get a AMD Sempron 64 for about £60... thats most of your $130 though...

the one I'm getting is $320, but it's worth it :p

take my advice, save up a bit more money and go for a big upgrade instead of getting low end parts for cheap every month or so
