Very weird physics lag

Hello,

I formatted my computer and before i did it, i made a backup of hl2, the thing is things do not run properly, for example physics, heres an example in garrys mod.

if you see, the objects lag, this did not happen before... and wait till the end of the clip and see how the smg fires...

What are your system specs and processor speed?

The physics calculations are made by your CPU. Chances are this is caused if the CPU is underpowered or struggling with the calculations.

If you were playing on a multiplayer server then it might have been the actual server's processor that was struggling with it as some of the calculations are server side.

It seemed as though the things on the client side were really struggling though.

Did you reinstall your motherboard and videocard drivers? they make a hudge difference especially motherboard drivers (when it comes down to CPU performance)
