I just purchased a vga hd av cable for my 360 and i was wondering will i get a better picture quality with it, before i open the product. I have a HD tv with it capable of doing 1080 , when i looked on the back of the package it says "High - definition gaming output of 720" But my hd tv does up to 1080p so will i actually be making the quality worse if i install this VGA cable?

I got the premium package with HD cables that my xbox came with.

Whats the best setup guys HELP!!! Plus i'm sure even if i install these it wont be even noticable to the human eye.:D

Thanks AlanFreeman with the 32"er HDTV w/vga or dvi connection that is:naughty:

The 360 has a scaler chip that upconverts 720p to 1080i. You say you have an HDTV though, so why not just use the provided component cables with it?

They won't help, no. HDTV screens actually mask jaggies better than a computer monitor. Most games on the 360 won't actually have aliasing problems though, as they all receive a minimum of 2xAA (the exception being PDZ which has motion blur).

I only got PDZ, and it's pretty damn good.

If you are using the included HD component cables then there is no need for that VGA cable. Also, if the game supports 1080i then you could play at 1080i, but as far as I know the current 360 titles can only go up to 720p.

Nope, most (if not all) go up to 1080i. There's been reports of side cutoffs in PDZ using 1080i, but it works perfectly for me.
