hey guys,
for overclocking, what is better? the vga silencer by artic cooling or a giant 2? i dont care about noise.

thx

from what i have heard the vga silencer is the best for overclocking, but this is only wot i have heard so if someone knows from experience then pls correct me

i jsut found out that they have a giant 3..now i wonder if this is better than the vga cooler.

Coincidently i just installed a VGA silencer on my 9800 Pro over the weekend. Dont know about the Giant though. The VGA Silencer was cheap ($22) and quite easy to install and i got a nice OC from it. It even cooled my case a bit because the cooler channels the hot air that comes off the card out the back of my case. I'm currently running my 9800 Pro at more the XT speeds...core 437 memory 371. :)

Yeah, I use that one too. The great thing about it, is that it allows you to upgrade to ramsinks. Unlike the other brick coolers! Enjoy the VGA silencer!
