vid card choice

i am looking to upgrade my video card, and i havnt pre ordered HL2 yet.
and as i know there are many video cards bundled with HL2, so i want to know which one is cheapest because im short in budget.

i just got told by a hardware seller that "before yes, but not now" that sucks cos i need to cut down my video card budget to buy lower end card to save money for hl2
