VIDEO REMOVED ***************
More human rights violations.
They couldn't enjoy this.
I remember when Schindler's List was being broadcast on TV nearly 8 years ago -- the executions and brutality shocked me.
I couldn't imagine why people would surrender logic and compassion for a simple scapegoat.
But this crime here, brings up a different hallmark. Amon Goeth was known for routinely executing Jews in his Concentration Camp -- either through beatings or shootings. Yet, as he learned to establish a relationship with those around him, Hitler's programming began to backfire. Towards the end of the war, to save himself from persecution, he turned himself in to German authorities where he was deported to a local insane asslyum. (Local to the regions of his camp)
In part from Steven Spielbergs sensationalism of that viewpoint, what echoes here is a loss of humanity that was equally as portrayed in his work. So, what causes this? War? Invasions? It does not justify crimes against humanity. Irreguardless of who started it first -- I feel we have a better responsbility as humans to not do this.
Obviously, this war has affected them to an enormous degree without excuses. So why not a different choice?
So, is laughing how they cope?
[The video removed was about six Russian prisoners of war that surrendered around the Dagos region near Chechnya. All of them were executed by having they're throats cut, ear to ear, where they were allowed to bleed out. Many of the rebels chanted or taunted the men as they died slowly.
The video in question was about one who resisted, but he was beaten and stabbed multiple times in the neck. The goal? To get him to cease resisting -- so they could cut his neck further.]
