Yo,
I'm thinking of updating my video card driver, or something of that sort, and could use some closure to my decision.
I currently, have a HP Pavilion 061. Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, build 2600),
Phoenix-Award BIOS v6.00PG, 446MB RAM, DirectX 9.0c, with an AMD Althlon(tm) 64 Processor 3500+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.2GHz.
And, ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series, 256MB, 1024 x 768 (32 bit) (60Hz)
Note: I am not sure if most of that information is futile or not, but whatever information is needed to help you help me decide what to do. I also don't know to much about this particular stuff, so cut me some slack.
Moving on..
I was looking into purchasing this card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121230
It looks more of an update, seems decent, and most importantly it's affordable (for my price range and budget
).
So, here's what I'm hoping for in posting this, I want to know, if I am making a good decision with this video card, and also open to any criticism and/or recommendations.
