To just answer your question: NO! ;-)

And I fully concur, even as I usually get fits when people just say to buy new hardware - an ATI Rage definitly is to old for any of the newer FPS.

If you really bought a ready built system they definatly have ripped you off, seeing from your CPU that the system can't be that old.
I guess it was a so called "Multi-Media system"? One intended for office use?
You might want to avoid that store/dealer in the future.

i dont even think an ati rage can play an fps unless doom can but i wouldnt know
