I am going to buy a video card for BF2 since I have a Ti4600 and was wondering which one is cheap and still going to run BF2 fairly well. Any help is appriciated :thumbs:

Buy an ATI card also don't buy bf2 I'll be more then happy to supply you with a torrent and find some good cracked/ hacked servers.

Oh cmon we dont need a torrent. Might as well buy the game and play on ALL servers. As for a cheap video card that does well on BF2 go for the Radeon 9800SE 256MB for only $133USD. Link

Do you have PCI Express? If not your best bet would be an Nvidia 6600GT which is higher than the 9800pro and goes for about 150USD. I have the Chaintech one its pretty good and it came with PainKiller I run BF2 with no lag at all on all medium settings Im not pumping it up because I see no need to. I think you can get a 6800 for 180. Its a leadtek but it aint too too bad. Still better than 6600 gt. though

Yes you do. If you knew the kind of bullshit EA and Nvidia are pulling in order to screw us gf4ti users you would be more then pissed off.

Let me explain it in the most simplest words this is whats going on.

The geforce 4 ti card is like a 3 year old car that is in good shape and runs well on every single road/highway. But then a new highway built by EA/DiCE sponsored by Nvidia is built that is no different and in fact worse the doom3 highway and the HL2 highway, but they don't let us drive our car because according to them our windsheild needs to be more tinted with 1.4 tint(pixel shader 1.4), rather then 1.3 tint. Doesn't matter that the engine can still handle the road the tires have good grip, braking and steering is fully in shape. Our cars can even reach over the highways speed limit. To bad our windshield is just not tinted enough. But then comes a 8500 series(ATI 8500 card) car which is in alot worse shape and can barely touch the speed limit of the highway. It's even breaking all over the road but hey it's aloud to drive on the highway because it has the 1.4 tint.
