Video Game Awards

I was wondering what games you guys like and would give awards to, For me,
I just bought God of War for the PS2, and I gotta say that game is one of the best action games I've ever played for the PS2, it gives you a dose of puzzles mixed with action, and when your killing the bosses there are fun little mini games to kill them, out of a score of 10 I would give God of War a 9.7 out of 10

So what about all you guys, What games do you think are cool?

P.S. It would be appreciated if you could write a small review, kinda like the one I did, that way we can see your reason for liking your choices.

It's pointless putting numbering's on games.

I mean what's the difference between a 9.7 and a 9.6? It's just a number that somebody guesses. To me I just think it gives you a guess on how much somebody likes a game, not how good the game actually is.

Sorry I'm going off on a tangent and all but I read this somewhere and found it interesting. PC Gamer gave the game Outlaw the editors choice rating, high reviews etc etc when it came out... However everybody _hated_ that game when it was released. A year later PC Gamer put Outlaw as the "Worst PC Game Ever" thus showing that numbering ratings of games are just to show how much somebody likes a game lol I am into ranting right now sorry.

My favorite games I've played aren't even released into stores yet because of my testing them... which means I can't say anything about them

Well, Iced, thats what this thread is about, It's not really "Best Game Ever" It's just what you think about the game.
Basicly, It's just your opinion on the game, that's all.

I prefer to give things just a straight number now. Instead of all this percentage bullshit. Just makes things easier.

With that said i can't be bothered listing what i'd give this game or that game
