Anyone know of a Community College that focuses on video game development?
Preferably in California, like Southern Cali lol

Don't go for a "video game" degree. You won't get hired anywhere.

Get a computer engineering degree or something similar.

Do you know anything about game development?

Start modding/joining mod teams. You sound rather clueless.

I'm not well-read in the area, but I don't think anybody is going to hold your hand to get into the gaming industry. Unless you go to some exclusive gaming school that will cost quite a lot. But even then you should have plenty of experience on your own with working with gaming. So like I said, modding is a great start to do that.

I'm sure Ennui has some good information/opinions on the topic.

I'm planning to do some modding. Like in Steam, under "Tools", there are the Source SDK stuff. But the thing is, my parents are divorced. And school started, and I'm being forced to spend the week at my mom's house. Thing is, I have everything I need down here at my dad's, which I'll be able to use only on weekends. So there's not alot of time I can practice with programs and all that. My mom won't even let me install anything on the computer
