Video Mode settings

Well this may have been talked about, but for some reason the forums won't let me search with the word "LCD" ? Weird.

Anyway, why does mode 1280x1024 say LCD next to it? I have a CRT, but play at 1280x1024 all the time. Is this res different than the other resolutions somehow?

I don't know for sure, but I do know it's the highest an LCD monitor can go, yet.

I don't believe it is the highest resolution an LCD can go but for most it is the native resolution, meaning the resolution the LCD is meant to be used at
