video settings and CRASH TO DESKTOP!!!!!1!!1

ahhh

well i startup CS:S and go to video settings and put on 2x AA, then i try to join a game. its crashes to desktop when im almost joined the game. ok then, so i go to play CS:S again and it says "there was a video error; steam has changed video settings back to default." i cant change them unless i join a game, set 2x AA, then it starts another game (loads the map again for a new game)

plus it keeps crashing to desktop whenevr i try to join a game and wont ever join a game. it does it randomly too.

What type of card do you have?

FX5700.. i got it running 2 timees with 2x AA so far, smooth as a baby's bottom too, but i dont know what this crashing to desktop BS is.
