I see there are some ATI issues...
mine is that the screen goes completely white intermittently, but it's just the landscape, features like the houses, roadways, hills, etc. Objects like boxes, barrels and weapons are always visable. interestingly, if I turn my flashlight on while in the white-out, things go back to normal, but revert to white when the flashlight is turned back off.

this only started happening after about 30 hours into the game... very annoying when you cant see where you are, what you're standing on...

I have an original ATI all-in-wonder Radeon.

I see there are some ATI issues...

There are problems on all card makes in all games. It's not specific, and it's often not just the video card. You will often see people say things like, "I have that same card and absolutely no problems". Of course 99% of posts in a help forum are ONLY from people who have problems, not people who are perfectly all right. Keep that in mind. Might be a dozen new posts a day with issues, but thousands more who had no issues at all.
