Ryan Lambourn, the Australian man who created the highly offensive V-Tech Rampage, has posted a message on his GooGumProduce website demanding payment to take the game offline:

ATTENTION ANGRY PEOPLE:

I will take this game down from newgrounds if the donation amount reaches $1000 US, i?ll take it down from here if it reaches $2000 US, and i will apologize if it reaches $3000 US.

what a dick

about the game:

Already drawing comparisons to Super Columbine Massacre RPG, an online, fan made Virginia Tech shooting game has appeared on Newgrounds.com as reported by Gamepolitics.com. Created by a user with the name PiGPEN, the game has players taking control of the shooter Seung-Hui Cho as he begins his assault with the murder of two students, unnamed in the game though obviously meant to be his first two victims Emily J. Hilscher and Ryan C. Clark.

Unlike the prior Columbine Massacre, there’s no attempt here for social commentary or analyzing. The game is riddled with embarrassing typographical errors, the ridiculous screens that follow failure are beyond pathetic, and the choice of music is sure to cause copyright issues. It’s a sad cry for attention, and a miserable use of a tragedy in an attempt to reach that goal.

Even ignoring the subject matter itself (which isn’t that easy to do), the game is dull. Avoiding police is a matter of dodging their flashlights, which is made more difficult due to the animation than anything else. Shooting is bland, and the graphics are on the low end.

I'll fly over there and massacre him. And then I'll become rich with all the iron I will sell from the gigantic desposits of irony all over the internet.

Why is this a big deal?
It's a shit game, he was free to do it if he wanted just don't bother playing it, all this is the attention he wants.

it doesnt matter if he gets attention form us the gaming community ..but just like Super columbine massacre the mainstream media is sure to pick up on it and use it as a tool for use as an example of how video games are teaching kids to become mass murderers ..the mainstream eats this shitup and soccor moms across the world believe every word of it

On the one hand, I've no problem with people making games like this, and he's free to make them - freedom of speech.

On the other hand, he's feeding the anti-game activists with more and more "proof" that video games cause violence and are anti-society and etc.

wtf, some black people just stand there while everyone else is running around, if you talk to them they just curse orientals.
