virus deleted notepad

hi i remember chris d attaching notepad a while back but i cant find it, a virus deleted notepad and i dont have a windows xp cd from the store i got my computer from, can anyone find the link to this or know where i can get notepad from ?

i think i just solved it... copy this into your windows/system32 folder if you still want notepad back

EDIT:lol ive had the reply post page open for a while but i didnt see that post, thansk for your help though anyway !

and i did search for it but i couldnt see it

for some reason, one day, notepad would not open
even though it was still there in windows
