Visa Gift Cards???

Anyone heard of them??

Theyre like vouchers where you put upto ?250 on them, use them like a normal credit card for any transactions, then once theyre depleted you cant fill them up again...

Are they still around???

Basically im trying to find a way of getting the Orange Box through STEAM without asking my parents for their credit card...god im 21 for ***k sake lol. Stupid student maestro card...

I tried using one recently. They generally seem to be okay, except if the place you're buying from enforces the use of Verisign/Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCard, where you have to basically double-register the card - then most of them don't work afaik. You need to check with the place you're paying first. I stuck ?30 on one to pay for an obscure Jap MMORPG for a few months, but the site only accepted Verisign/Securecard Visa and Mastercards so it was basically useless.

Just use Paypal to buy the Orange Box tbh.

Get a trusted friend to log on to ur account and buy it with their card.
I did it for someone, but Im too nice and trustworthy for my own good.
