As a child, Chancellor Merkel was bitten by a dog, instilling her deep fear of canines. Merkel's fear is well known, and perhaps worryingly for Germans has reportedly been used against her by foreign leaders. Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, a master of psychological diplomacy, has repeatedly attempted to take advantage of Merkel's fear. In 2006, the then-president perplexed German diplomats by presenting the chancellor with a small dog as a gift and made a habit of having his black Labrador, Koni, sit in on their meetings. Putin's successor, Dmitry Medvedev, has put a stop to the practice.

and calling anyone who oposses him a traitor and such

and yeah when sam penn said that journalist should be jailed if they call chavez dictator,chaves said thank to him and remarked his "right to have a opinion" cuz yeah sean penn does seem to deserve the right to have a opinion unlike the tons of venezuelans that when making the simplest critique they go whit all the artillery

and all that while forming militias that are under his direct comand,not by minister of defense and such,under his total comand

and next time you see the protest in greece,think that if that happened in venezuela chavez will probably make his militias to shot the protesters or things like that,or give weapons to theyr followers,so yeah enjoy that right that is slowly decreasing in venezuela

but offcourse since is chavez,whit his red beret and shirt,you clap

so go to the cuban webpages,since international media "manipulates" cuz yeah a webapge under the domain of cuba is no way biased,and go protest for things like support for the greeks or against the trial on garzon,cuz you can

Nah, he's still Prime Minister.

Its just that now Medvedev is President so he gets to go to the meetings with other heads of state and decide whether to intimidate Germans with dogs.
 
Medvedev is kind of a reasonable man. Which is just unacceptable for a Russian President.

Yeah, I miss the good old days of Yeltsin being a drunken lunatic and Putin acting like a Bond Villian (and in many cases, pretty much being a cardboard cutout of a Bond Villian)
