Voice actors desperately needed for MOVIE

Alright...

I have been searching a good 6 months now for voice talent, and I have only found 2 voice actors willing to help me.

The project is called "Resistance" which is not a mod, but a movie made using Vegas video, fraps, and the videogame Operation Flashpoint. The reason why I am posting a request for voice actors here is because:

1. Alot of people come here

2. I plan on using the HL2 engine for special effects, and physics for some pretty crazy scenes.

For those of you who are wondering about the story line:

The Soviet Union ended in the year 1991. By now around 14 regions became independant, one of them being Chechnya. Russian president Boris Yeltsin refuses to recognize Chechen independance. Great conflict between the two areas erupt. Near the end of the first attack in 1994, there were over 70,000 casualties on both sides and Yeltsin has no choice but to pull his troops out.

By the year 2007 the war was far from over. More problems rise as Vladamir Putin, the new president of Russia, was rebeled against by the Russian General in charge, Dimitri Kozlova. Kozlova was able to persuade many of his troops, and others around the world to join his cause. "All war is civil war, because all men are brothers." He launched his first campaign against the Russian goverment, with many followers to join his one and only cause - The Empire was to be reborn.

That is not the main story however...it's basically a backstory to how exactly we get to the main story event and plot.

But, I need voice actors. badly.

-Must have some good talent skills

If you are un aware of what I mean by voice actors, it's simple.
Toy Story, and other animated movies have voice actors.
I am not looing for impersonations of real people, I'm looking for your own unique individual voice talent.

How exactly do you plan on using the HL2 engine for special effects? It seems to me like you just threw that in as justification for posting on a HL2 site.

You're going to make a movie with Operation Flashpoint? Then i dont understand this:

You cant mix 2 games.

We only allow Half life 2 mods here, so I have to close this thread, sorry. PM me if i got it wrong, and we'll see what we can do... but for now - Closed.

There seems to be a bit of confusion on how exactly the combination of 2 games will work. If you are interested in knowing, you can view this example video http://www.fansn.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index&req=getit&lid=89

This shows the copy and pasting of 2 different videos placed into 1. Op Flashpoint is just to story telling of the video, while HL2 engine will be the bulk of the special effects, with physics and other stuff.

No this is strictly a realistic video...you wont see Alieans and stuff.

The closest thing to Sci-Fi in the game will be a few religious themes but that's about it.

Ok i got it. Thanks, so farnow I got 4 people, but there are many more slots to fill, so please anybody who can be a voice actor (which should be anybody) please respond

Also any female voices would be good. (If you have a wife, or girlfriend, daughter, or if you are a girl, u get the drift)

Not exactly, but I'm sure I can find a character for the voice.

Here are a few samples to try for..

*situation: tense*

"Their forces are growing stronger, we have nothing more we can do but to pull the civilians to saftey."

*Weather Forecaster*
"For today's forecast, we are still tracking the Moenia strom, there will be a slight chance of the storm passing through us so we will continue to track it until we know for sure."

*Angry, upset, yelling*
"You did not follow orders, you stayed on that Island, and you will now remain on that island!"[/QUOTE]No static, eh? Well... I figured out that by just decreasing the volume of the recorded file it gets rid of all the static, so if I just say my lines a bit louder than normal it should be fine
