Voice not working in Source games

I've got onboard sound on my IP35 Pro motherboard and I've updated the drivers.
The voice tests work just fine on the Steam application itself, in Settings. But as soon as I try to test the voice in any Source based game, I get nothing.

"Voice enabled in Windows"? Are you asking if I have the mic turned on in windows? Because, like I said, "The voice tests work just fine on the Steam application itself." My mic works just fine everywhere but Source games.
