Hi, all i just finished playign hl1, hl2, hl2 ep1 and hl2 ep 1, but howcome in the original half life the vorginauts areant on your side but on hl2 they are?

Well first of all, it's 'Vortigaunts' but easy mistake to make

In HL1 the vortiguants were slaves under Nihilanth, the giant Fetus dude that is the last boss in HL1. Once freed from Nihilanth, they joined with the humans.

Or some vorts gets captured by combine and they clean floors for combine. Look at d1_trainstation_01.
