Well, I let the entries stay open a few days and still not much was submitted. Unless I get an overwhelming response, I think that it might be time to close the art contest. We just aren't getting much interest in it anymore.

ok, i lied. i could be arsed to look through the forum. After pondering the previos photoshop contests, i have thought of a new idea:

to design gordon freeman a better HEV suit

it could be decorated in flowers, painted in gelotine or made out of bubblewrap, so long as gordon is feeling better than ever in his new gear.

I'll see what I can do but I don't have too much power and i'm not sure if i'd be able to set something like this up

I'll close the poll tonight. What do you guys think about taking a break this week for the contest? Maybe more entries will surface next week with a break.

i dont mind. i would prefer there to be no break, but its up to u. maybe u could create a vote and see who wants

b) a short break

I think it's a good idea. I was thinking of something like designing your own armour from the Medival period, but I think this one would be more interesting.

I have no real artistic talent, so I don't feel right submitting anything in these contests, but I do enjoy seeing the results.

There's no need to close the art contest. We're loosing more and more members each week, and we need something like this to draw more in (i.e. maybe instead of having a link to the Fan Art section at the Homepage, we have a link to the contests as well). Plus closing the art contest at 13 is bad luck if your superstitious.

It is your decision though.
