Voucher/ticket question..

Hi, i just recently bought a ati radeon 9600xt and i didnt get a hl2 voucher. I bought it from gamedude and asked them about the voucher. The said that the offer has expired or somthing. I look on the concorde computer site and they have the same card except with the voucher. I ring them up and ask if its still valid. They said that they dont have the card in stock and that the voucher's expired....

My friend gave me a link to a site where u put the serial of your card in and they send u a voucher.

oh sorry i was in a rush and couldnt write the whole thing. My question is, do they still give vouchers but i see its already answered and btw the 9800 was kinda expensive and..well..i dont have much money..plus my other graphics card was uber crap and slow so i didnt wanna go buy a $600 dollar graphics card when the 9600xt is still pretty good..and the 9600 is still good for playing...WITH a good monitor =D

The lad is asking if he should have got a voucher with his card. It seems that the offer has expired. A simple answer along those lines would suffice, instead of cocky attitudes.

Are ATI still giving the vouchers away with the X800 XT's (Sapphire one I'm looking at).

Not very clear on the reviews and websites ive seen.

I had a thread like this awhile ago. I'm going to email valve, I'm pissed. The 9600 xt was $200- Same as the 9800 pro!! Imagine how pissed you would be, having that choice thinking the 9600xt is better then finding out later its not. Grr. Such a waste.

Actually,(for me anyway) I was told by the best buy guy that it DID come with the voucher for a free copy of Half-life 2. The tag also said so. Thats 50 dollars right there. Now, a logical person would buy the card. Maybe you need to stop bitching, iamaelephant, and stop speaking for other people. Who the hell is "we"?.

Currently, PowerColor is giving out vouchers with their X800 XT product. Other than that, I don't think any other company is providing vouchers with any ATI product.

A while ago, PowerColor was also sending vouchers to 9600XT owners that didn't get one. Some people took advantage of it since all they needed was a JPEG of the box. That deal is over now.

ATI is still doing Vouchers but what cards they do it on are different and if a company (Like Asus or Xtasy) wants to include the voucher they have to pay ATI extra for it.
