Vrad compiling problem.

I've read through several pages on problems when compiling maps to do with vrad, in the way that once the map is run, it looks like there's no lighting whatsoever (like fullbright). Now I've made sure there's no leaks, and also that there's a light_environment in there as well. In the console whilst compiling it does the whole "Building face lights" thing, but still remains the same in-game.

Any ideas? :(
 
If there's no real VRAD problems, it could be that you've set your environment light value to [255 255 255 600], or some other bright color, and the ambient value to the same. Try changing the ambient brightness level to something like [255 255 255 50] and see if that makes a difference.
