there was a bar in toronto called the Gasworks, at the time it was one of the few live band/metal bars in town. I also met Sebastian Bach (the idiot singer from Skid Row, not the genius guy) ..also saw Steve harris and the blonde guy from Iron maiden, members of the scorpians, rob halford from judas priest and members of local bands etc. it really was a happening spot at the time because whenver a metal band played in toronto you'd be sure to see them at the gasworks at some point while in toronto
