War, Inc. is a dark political satire film starring John Cusack and Hilary Duff and directed by Joshua Seftel. Cusack also wrote and produced the film. A working title of the film was Brand Hauser: Stuff Happens. The story is partly inspired by Naomi Klein's article "Baghdad Year Zero".



War Inc. (formally known as Brand Hauser) is set in the future, when the desert country of Turagistan is torn by a riot after a private corporation, owned by the former US president, has taken over the whole state. Brand Hauser (John Cusack) is a hit man who suppresses his emotions by gobbling down on hot sauce and is hired by the corporation's head to kill the CEO of their competitors. Everything changes when the ruthless killer finds himself head-over-heels in love with a sexy reporter portrayed by Marisa Tomei.

sounds like Grosse Point Blank in iraq - it also stars Dan Akroyd who almost stole Grosse point blank as a rival hit man ..it was written by Cusack (also wrote Grosse Point blank) so it should be great

Its taken ages to get this movie released. Loved Grosse Point Blank, one of my favourite soundtracks.

just got a chance to watch the trailer ...lol at assasination target: Omar Sharif ..for you young whipper snappers he's Doctor Zhivago ..I can hera you say "who?" ..from the movie of the same title

joan cusack seems like she's reprising her role from grosse point blank ..the movie looks good however Hilary duff looks out of place
