War Of The Worlds *spoiler Alert* Do Not Come In If Not Seen Yet!

I just saw war of the worlds and let me tell you THAT WAS ONE HELLUVA MOVIE! The only problem was that the alien ships that they called tripods that walked around and shot beams at you. Didnt they remind you of the striders? the had 3 legs and shot beams at you too. Then at the end of the movie they take one of the tripods down with rocket launchers. wtf isnt that from half life 2? i think steven spielberg got the idea from half life 2 lol. seeing as in the original war of the worlds they were space ships that floated.
every time i seen one of those tripods like come out of no where i felt like yelling STRIDER!!!!!!! it was so funny.
Oh yea i forgot the tripod space ship thing made the same sound as the strider when it emerged from places. it was really loud lol

2. There were Striders in the original War of the Worlds book.
3. This is like the 50th thread that has been started saying 'omg Spielberg obviously played HL2 I felt like shouting 'STRIDER!' No offence.
