Warhammer40K style Flamer

Well, I'm back with more models :eek:
I got 3ds max from a friend (student version), so I figured out that I should learn to use it...
I started to read some tutorials, but they were like more, more and even more boring the longer the tutorial was, so I just read the basic and started on flamer (WH40K style).

Its 994 polys, and its about 98% finished.
I'll read some tutorials about UV mapping now, so that someone at the Gang War team can skin it ;)
btw I made it after this picture...
 
Well, its simple because its my first MAX model.. Also the stuff from Games-Workshop aren't mega detailed (since they are small)..

What did you mean with the "ornate Space Marine ones?" ? Since I made it after a flamer from the space marines sprue ;)
 
well i think you should take out about 1/3 of the sides on all of the cylinders you have there. its crazy, the rest of the gun is so blocky and then you have these amazingly round barrels. chamfer some of the edges closer to the 1st person view, so it looks real nice ingame.
