seriously, tho. sure its free (i think... hell now that i say it i dont think its free anymore) and supposedly has less security wholes and whatnot. but its less compatible with stuff.

and they rely on hot babes to advertise... thats a low blow...

so anyway, anyone have a good list of pros for linux?

It's a lot more stable then windows(allthogh latest windows are stable enough). It eats much less resources and manages them a lot better then windows.

And about security holes... There were found more security holes in *nix then in windows.

Yeah i use it for my server. I don't think Linux s as easy to use (at least at first) as windows and the game support isn't the best. But i really do prefer it over windows. Its generally more stable and it crashes less as it doesn't seem to degrade itself over the first few months of being installed.

I use it evenever I make online purchases or other "important stuff". Because my windows environment is probably chuck-full of trojans and spyware I downloaded from Kazaa.

I got a worm from a .dat file K++ downloaded by itself.

I once downloaded kazza off kazza once.

It was an expericence....the amount of crap that came with it anyway.

Looking back, what is the point in putting kazza, on kazza? I mean honestly. Must be so inquisitive (not the right word exactly but i cant remember the other one) people like me see what happens. Oh well.
