Way to go!

I thought I was gonna be congratulated for something. ;(

But nooooo, instead I have to sit here and weep for those poor, defenseless trees!

he doesnt care about the enviroment dude :(, he cares about him and his family's fat wallet,

he shows complete lack of consideration for the inhabitants of the world, his decisions are becoming more transparent every week

its all about the next 'threat' , and the next 'profit' for the bush administration.

I think its funny how people from other countries care more about the US than US citizens do.

lol, yeh its weird, but I do live on this planet too,, that might have something to do with it ;), and enviromental and political decision's will probably effect us, and next generations. But hey that's no biggie aslong as those billionaires keep raking in the profit's , right.

Trees.... bah, I see them everyday, who gives a damn ;)

And it is funny sometimes how people out of the US care more about what goes on in our country than us sometimes.

you see, ;) now get this...

we are actually all on the same land mass,

and just about where the east and west borders of the US end, it disappears under the sea , but it comes right back up over here in Britain. :dozey: :P.

its called earth, you know,, that ball thing under your feet that keeps you alive.

Yeah, this is all true, but I dont see why we are so worried about a little logging here in the US (not saying I agree with it) but why not down in South and Central America where is is a bigger problem. I Know people do worry about it, but whatever, I have never understood environmentalists.

Idaho actually wishes for some more logging (much of their wilderness is restricted), while a lot of states like California and Minnesota aren't even going to see any real changes.
That said, I'm skeptical as to whether this is really going to change much of anything anywhere, since theres been such a ridiculous outcry over it.

Actually, here in Arizona, logging was prevented SO MUCH that it was VERY costly to the environment. The trees and forests were so unnaturally overprotected that they were overgrown unnaturally. Resulted in huge wildfires ALL OVER the state. Not good at all.

So something that occurs naturally can be unnatural... interesting...

I think the media in other countries is not afraid of "upsetting americans" with the news, so they're perfectly willing to show the REAL unclouded story of what's going on in the Bush administration and their wars.

I'm not saying your media is a complete fake, but I think there is a bit too much caution and bias in the US media.

and, that said...
We care because we love you :D

No, it wasn't. Various measures to make sure trees survived against other things made it unbalanced. Liberal forest policies caused the decimation of the forests via fire, instead of the small effect moderate logging would have. Now clearcutting is bad, but logging in general isn't evil or very bad. :P

Ahahahaha....the US media seems to do nothing but try to upset the population. :D

I bet they have a huge & great master plan or something... Only way I can explain the acts & Bush & everything happening. Obviously they know something we don't

The trees have threatened to start more wildfires if we don't cave to their demands. We are taking the fight back to them.

Each year we waste millions of gallons of gas driving around trees. Lets cut down the trees so we can save gas.

/sarcasm
