We need a Halo 2 sub-forum in general gaming.

Lets face it, Halo 2 has the same amount of hype going for it as Half-Life 2 (or more). Just looking at the General gaming forum now I can see several posts about Halo 2.

Now uh...this being a Half-Life 2 site and the uh....conflicts between Halo 2 fans and Half-Life 2 fans might cause some problems. By giving Halo 2 a sub-form, only people interested can go in leaving, thus leaving the rest to talk about other games.

Anyway, might be a good idea. Eh?

Don't get me wrong, Halo 2 will kick as much ass as Half-Life 2, but I gotta go with Methias. This IS a Half-Life 2 base site, and should stay as one. But I wouldn't mind a halo2.net.....

Why would we want a Halo 2 forum? In theory, it'd be 'cos we want to talk about a game we're excited about with members of a community that's proven itself to be intelligent and interesting. Though with the recent threads regarding the crapness of Halo 2 I don't think it would be a good idea.

Beyond the initial OMG it's released!!...OMG it's great!!, Halo² threads will drop off fast a few weeks after it is released, and any Halo² forum will die a death like the Doom³ one did. There really is no point in a seperate forum for it (it's not like it can be modded either...)
